Your Case

Call Now, 561-544-1112.
  1. Do I have a case?
    • Whether you have a case depends on many factors. If you are injured in an automobile accident, you must meet one of four thresholds to have a case. The thresholds require you die, you suffer the loss of an important bodily function, you suffer significant and permanent scarring, or you suffer a permanent injury within a reasonable degree of medical certainty. To determine whether you meet one of the thresholds, you will need the testimony of a doctor (MD, DO, Chiropractor, or one of the other medical professionals listed in the statute). Call me to discuss your case. Don’t wait to call until after you are treated because evidence may be lost while you wait. Call now.
  2. How long will the case take?
    • How long is hard to tell. It depends on how well you heal and how reasonable the insurance company is. It is not unusual for cases to take more than 6 or 9 months to resolve.
  3. How much money will I receive?
    • It is impossible to know how much money you will receive. Determining how much a case is worth requires an analysis of the extent of your injury, the clarity of the fault attributable to the defendant, the impact of the injury on you, and a myriad of other factors too unique to your case to be described here.
  4. What about medical bills and lost wages?
    • PIP insurance is Personal Injury Protection insurance. Every automobile policy sold in Florida must include PIP insurance. By law, PIP insurance must pay for a portion of your medical bills caused by an automobile accident, a portion of wages lost as a result of an automobile accident, and various other benefits. Any medical bills and wages not paid by PIP can be recovered from the defendant. Call me to discuss the benefits available to you under your PIP policy.
  5. Will I have to pay fees and costs?
    • You do not have to pay any money out-of-pocket. I am compensated from the proceeds of any recovery. I pay in advance the costs of investigating your claim and any litigation costs. You will pay no costs or fees unless a recovery is made for you.
  6. Will we help you with your property damage claim?
    • We will help you settle your property damage claims. Typically, we do not charge a fee for this service if we are handling your injury claim, but call to discuss this aspect of your case.
  7. What should I do for myself?
    • Take pictures of your injuries each day until they resolve completely. Keep a journal of your sufferings, medications, medical visits and complaints.
Get treated and get better as well and as quickly as you can.
  8. What if I have other questions?
    • If you have other questions, call me now. I am happy to speak with you about your case.
